ORCHA and NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board are working in partnership to improve access to safe, trusted digital health tools.
With support from the Women’s Health Hub, this programme expanded to focus on menopause and perimenopause, key areas of unmet need.

Health Innovation Wessex worked closely with NHS Dorset and system partners to horizon scan proven evidence based innovations which addressed the local needs and issues and also addressed the engagement feedback from the population.
The horizon scan surfaced multiple innovations and through working with clinicians, this was narrowed down to adopt these four technologies:

Symptom tracking and self-management functionality
Accessibility and ease of use
Relevance to local needs and user feedback
A dedicated digital landing page was developed, giving women access to trusted tools to better understand and manage their health.

This partnership demonstrates how combining clinical insight, population feedback, and digital innovation can address gaps in traditional care. By providing trusted, accessible tools, ORCHA and NHS Dorset are supporting women to live well and manage their health with confidence.
