Why We’re Doing This

Across the NHS, digital transformation is no longer a goal, it’s essential.

But with thousands of apps and platforms on the market, finding technologies that are safe, effective, and compliant can be complex and time-consuming.

That’s where ORCHA Compare helps. Compare brings together over 2,400 independently assessed digital health technologies, all reviewed using the ORCHA Baseline Review (OBR v6) — the same framework trusted by the NHS, NICE, and international health systems.

By offering 1,000 free licences, we want to make it easier for NHS teams to:

  • Discover and evaluate digital tools with confidence.

  • Access trusted assurance data across data protection, clinical safety, and evidence domains.

  • Reduce duplication in DTAC assurance and streamline procurement.

  • Save time and resource, allowing teams to focus on delivering care.

What You Can Do with ORCHA Compare

With a Compare licence, NHS users can:

  • Search and filter 2,400+ reviewed digital health technologies.

  • Analyse compliance data and assurance details.

  • Compare products side-by-side on features, cost, and evidence.

All assessments are underpinned by the ORCHA Guarantee, ensuring consistency, independence, and global best practice.

Our Commitment to the NHS

For over a decade, ORCHA has partnered with the NHS, supporting the safe adoption of digital health through independent review, trusted standards, and practical assurance pathways. From underpinning DTAC in England to supporting frameworks in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, we’re proud to be part of the NHS digital health journey.

“The NHS faces enormous pressure to deliver safe digital transformation at pace,” says Liz Ashall-Payne, Founder of  ORCHA.
“We want to make that journey easier. By offering free access to Compare, we’re helping teams find and deploy trusted technologies faster, with confidence.”
